Tania Shamsfar is an Australian legal practitioner with experience in corporate immigration, employer-sponsored migration and regulatory advisory. Drawing on more than 17 years of professional experience across financial services and regulatory compliance she brings a commercially focused and pragmatic approach to helping businesses navigate Australia’s complex migration framework.

Tania advises employers and skilled migrants on a broad range of Australian immigration matters, including employer-sponsored temporary and permanent visa programs, labour agreements, sponsorship compliance, labour market testing and skilled migration pathways. She works closely with businesses to develop practical immigration strategies that support workforce planning while ensuring compliance with Australia’s evolving migration laws.

Prior to practising law, Tania built extensive experience advising corporate and high-net-worth clients within highly regulated industries, developing strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management skills and a deep understanding of client service and risk management. This background, combined with her legal expertise, enables her to provide practical and commercially aligned immigration solutions tailored to the needs of her clients.

Having migrated to Australia from Iran at a young age, Tania brings a personal understanding of the migration journey and the opportunities and challenges involved in building a new life in Australia. This perspective, combined with her professional experience, allows her to connect with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and provide empathetic, practical advice throughout their immigration journey.

Tania holds a Bachelor of Laws from Western Sydney University and speaks Farsi and Azari, enhancing her ability to communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
