This event will provide HR leaders with an update on the current conditions for talent mobility and immigration to Australia during the COVID-19 pandemic. Whilst travel to and from Australia has been restricted in response to the pandemic, the medical and health industry sector continues to need access to a pool of highly skilled people with global expertise from around the world to remain competitive and meet future workforce needs. We will share insights into the current requirements for travel to and from Australia, including how to navigate the travel exemption process, the recent changes to visa rules and how to secure work visas for staff, and what to anticipate in terms of the impact of COVID on talent mobility. Participants will also gain an understanding of the government priorities and policies to support the medical and health industry sector to attract outstanding candidates with expertise in innovative STEM fields.
